Saucers GreenGate I want to close the month with the cake I made for the 12 years of my Andrea! Colorful as he pleases, but simple greedy greedy! Classic sponge cake, whipped cream and lots of colorful confetti valedictorian ... Happy weekend, happy Halloween, happy feast of All Saints and good New Year for those who celebrate Samhain! I enjoy three days off! BIRTHDAY CAKE INGREDIENTS: for the base: 4 eggs - 120 g sugar - 120 grams of flour for the topping: 1/2 liter of milk - 2 eggs - 120 g sugar - 60 g flour - 250 ml fresh cream - lemon zest - a tablespoon of powdered sugar for the syrup: water, syrup and raspberries to decorate: 2 packages of chocolate chip cookies (like Togo) - colorful confetti (M & M's) PREPARATION: The day before, prepare the sponge cake. Whip the eggs with the sugar for at least twenty minutes, then gradually incorporated valedictorian the flour, stirring without dismantling. Pour into a cake tin (20 cm diameter) well-greased and floured and bake at 175 degrees for 30 minutes, without ever opening the door. Then turn off to let in another 5 minutes. For the cream, put to heat the milk with the lemon zest, meanwhile in a bowl, mix the eggs with the sugar and add the flour, stirring constantly. Spread a thin layer of cream on the surface and also at the edges of the cake, then decorated the whole outline with chocolate chip cookies and pour the colored confetti to decorate it.
