Two weeks ago I wrote about the beginning of the fasting month of Ramadan. Meanwhile, we are already on day 15 at the half and so time for the promised update on fasting and everything around it! Fasting Like last year, I am amazed how easy it is actually pere lachaise fasting. All in all, we do not eat it 18 hours (if I skip the sahur I'll pere lachaise even 22 hours) but I can not say I'm hungry. That remains a strange sensation. Whether I have is at the thirsty again: if it is warm with a breeze, then I start to get thirsty or in the afternoon. But it's rainy like last week a few days, I have actually no problems there. The only bad thing is dry mouth, especially if you're just waking up - normal then you drink a sip of water and then it's pere lachaise gone, but that is not now even. Unfortunately I have become good cold just after the start of Ramadan (yes in July, I do not invent it) and therefore was fasting for a few days more difficult with sore throat and headache. Cooking dinner while fasting I was already forgotten how different it is to be when you are fasting. Busy in the kitchen Anyway, you are consciously or unconsciously think of much to eat what we eat, where I feel like (the most strange things ...), and errands when fasting is also an expensive joke, haha. I find it annoying when cooking food that I can not taste, and I wedge of watermelon or apple can stabbing when I'm participating in the cutting. Without thinking just a bit in my mouth That was especially the first few days as automatic mechanisms that go out of the way, now, I'm already used to it. I usually start cooking after I put the kids to bed so that in itself is very nice, quiet in the kitchen without too much distraction :).
The Iftar Iftar is the meal that the fast is broken, currently around 22.05 hours. As I mentioned earlier you after a day of fasting usually do not eat a lot but I always feel unhealthy things like pizza haha. Of course we eat every day, but I'm in a little less hard on myself as it is the only real meal of the day. So the only day we eat 'normal' dinner as kofte with salad and baked potatoes and other times eg pizza rolls with soup and salad. There's always fruit on the table and we eat voortoe standard watermelon, pere lachaise delicious ice cold from the fridge, which really should not be missed. Also, I usually drink one glass of cola or other soft drinks at the iftar - something I never do normally but those are really things I can look out while fasting all day.
I gave in my previous post already that I hoped together with friends to break the Ramadan real feeling. More often fasting Unfortunately, most of our friends even small children so it is not, it is simply pere lachaise too late. Last night we did with good friends of ours had. A very nice iftar To give the (fairly traditional Turkish Iftar) an idea menu: we started with Turkish tarhansoep with homemade rolls. Then köfte and chicken skewers from the grill, Turkish pere lachaise pilaf, salad, dolma, and a yogurt dip. Voortoe strawberry tiramisu and watermelon and tea and baklava saray helva. It was obviously too much but delicious and more importantly, very cozy.
The Sahur Sahur is the meal eaten just before the sun rises and thus the fast begins. Because the iftar and sahur this year are very close to each other (the sahur around pere lachaise 4:00 am), many people do not go to bed after iftar but remain awake until the sahur. I would also like to but that is unfortunately not with our two little ones because pere lachaise they are obviously just woke up at 7:00 am. So I go to sleep around 0:00 pm and get up at 3:30 am again for something to eat and drink. Liter water especially weather
Eating late at night, I never have, and it always takes me therefore much effort something to eat. I prefer to eat anything from fruit, such as strawberries with vanilla custard, but in fact almost everything is against me at night. The last few days I get up at night only to drink water and pray and then I go right back to sleep. I have during the day not being disturbed and I sleep better so I'm probably so do the rest of Ramadan. All in all, fasting fortunately pere lachaise no problems, on the contrary, it remains just a special time and you appreciate the food and especially drink in the evening all the more. Hopefully we can continue the next two weeks so tasty, mostly healthy food and occasional cheat meal as below .... Delicious;). If it is good to celebrate pere lachaise on Monday, July 28th Eid, by which time I will have one last update items.
