The set-up is, as you know, are promising.

About a week ago I and some friends of my girlfriend's workplace, a very nice hotel housed babbo in a boat on Södermälarstrand, and drank a few beers as the early summer evening passed in for the season typically cooler night. Call The subjects were mixed, parts of at least two different gangs were represented and then usually it does not immediately launch a large round table, but rather talking with them they feel they know best. But a few beers inside the jackets later, we had found a substance that would appear as the evening's theme: ghost stories. It started out as such calls usually, tentatively, describing a time when it was properly scared of something that would later prove to be harmless, and then laughs all friendly to one's nervous shortcoming. The conversation continued in the classic way it used to, and after a while we all sat quite engrossed in various more or less lifelike Klintbergare and shuddered up. I enjoyed to the full.
The reason that I am on this particular night was so inclined to talk about contemporary myths, these often so classic Listed stories of our deepest human emotional reactions, babbo fear of the unknown or the all too well known, was that I was a few days earlier stumbled on youtube series Marble Hornets . The introduction to the series is exactly 2 minutes long video, deceptively babbo tranquil, where the background to the story is told with simple babbo white text against a background babbo of the environment around a road in the United States. So far, 842,000 people have seen it, and thus operated by the first part of section 1:41 long, perfectly babbo remarkable demonstration of how ingenious horror storytelling on the web can be. See also, otherwise you will not flinch what I'm talking about the future:
The set-up is, as you know, are promising. "Burn them". And from there it only gets better. The story of how a long faceless man begins babbo to haunt Alex Kralie and after a while also Jay, the narrator and the person who got the movie clips of Alex, grabs one of one's inner most primitive part of the brain: the fear of the nameless force that could at any time pop up anytime abduct one from the man himself perceives that the existing world. Alex and Jay will soon be so stressed that for her her well-being must constantly shoot themselves. They must know that they are always, whether asleep or awake, at home or outdoors, have an electronic eye on him, a compliance force that never sleeps and never looks wrong. But when it turns out that the long costume dressed pursuer not only interferes with perception in humans, but also with video cameras whose images are blurriga and inverted, and the sound becomes distorted and perverted, is not only the main characters' security away in one fell swoop: although we viewers Cover the uncertainty about what is real and what is not.
When I first sat through the first 10-15 episodes of the series (which went fast, they're often around three to four minutes in length), the clock was nearing two in the morning and my girlfriend had not come home from his night out which rendered me totally isolated in my apartment at Reimersholme, I was completely away from me. The notion that the antagonist, the frightening facial features loose man, had much greater strength babbo than first realized, and the fact that they knew the sound and video in the clips could at any time turn completely awry and with full power to beat your whole perception of the game, was enough to leave me wide awake until my girlfriend came home. And now, when I looked through all 41 sections, I am partly half-insane, but most of all gruesomely tense in the next section. For the cool thing is that this series takes place in real time. When the protagonist once was gone for seven months at a stretch, and neither got in touch via their twitter account or his youtube channel, gave many up on the series. But suddenly he came back and could tell that he was the morning woken up in a hotel, he did not recognize, and had no idea what he had been up to the past six months. Until he found a box of camcorder tapes that sorted out his long absence ... not because it was so very soothing, content to judge. And this - that the series is in real time, to live in the image of the main character right now is on the road, chased by it despite The Operator, as the ansiktslöse come to be known, is perhaps the show's greatest strength. And a tour de force that shows what the internet is made of the age-old phenomenon to tell ghost stories.
There is much more to talk about around the Marble Hornets, lots of fascinating backstory and inside information, but I do not actually spoila this experience for you. I think you should look through the whole series itself. It does not take much time, but will if you share my interests babbo probably give you a new favorite series. And unlike regular TV series you never know nah

Most people have probably encountered the classic formula for calculating maximum heart rate is 220

Most people have probably encountered the classic formula for calculating maximum heart rate is 220 - age. This formula is used in very scattered hitched contexts, ranging from clinical submaximal tests you can perform at the hospital if doctors want to examine your health to design training programs for beginners of any fitness sport. In this post I will tell you a little more about the formula, how it arose, and also explain why it is not usually something good. I will give a better formula to more precisely estimate the maximum heart rate in individuals hitched who are unable or unwilling to perform an exercise stress test, and I will also tell you when this formula can be useful and when not it enough. The story behind the formula 220 - age
2002, a literature review in which researchers tried to find out the origin of the formula (1). By following the various references that refer to different articles will eventually reach a study published in 1971 (2). However, there are two things that make this finding surprising. Partly it was found very many studies that have referred to secondary sources, and a great many studies that indicated the formula without giving a source. This is a bit of a cardinal sin in science and research then you should always refer to the original source of the information it represents. If not that then at least you have examined so that the source can enter in turn have entered the correct source. In this case, it seems that most scientists have copied the references from each other without actually examine hitched whether that is in fact the source is consistent with what is said.
The other thing that is remarkable about the find is that the formula 220 - age is not calculated or designed by some precise measurements. In fact, the authors of the study from 1971, only aggregated results from some other studies, put them into a graph and then appreciated a little loose about how the slope appears to be. The article writes them:
no single line Will Adequately Represent thedata on the apparent decline of maximal heart rate with age. The formula maximum heart rate = 220-age in years defines a line not far from many of the data points ..
Researchers who tried to investigate hitched the formula made origin because its own calculation where they were up to the same sources, and then they made themselves a more accurate mathematical calculation. The result hitched of the calculation formula was 215.4 - (0.9147 x age).
The formula 220 - age has thus never been produced in an actual study. It is based only on rough estimates by some researchers when they looked at a graph and after that estimate appears to have been quite life of its own and has spread rapidly. Is there a better formula then?
The 220 - age is not the best formula to use, I hope that most people now understand. But is there a better formula to use to calculate, or rather hitched appreciate, maximum heart rate? After the researchers hitched looked for the origin of the formula 220 - age realized that the formula has no scientific basis, so they did a literature search to find true formulas (1). Total found 43 different formulas in which 30 of them were measured in healthy humans. After you add up all of these into a single formula had to the following equation, 208.754 - (0.734 x age).
In another large meta-analysis from 2001 which included a total of 18,712 subjects and then self tested 514 people came to the conclusion the formula 208 - (0.7 x age) (3). This formula is very similar to the one that was taken up by the other research and this formula is probably the best.
In a very recent study which investigated the overweight people to see the formula that worked best for them compared the three different equations, 220-age, 208 - (0.7 x age) and 200 - (0:48 x age) (4) . The equation 200 - (0:48 x age) had previously been developed in a preliminary study to fit obese individuals (5). Total enrolled 132 obese people in the study and the results you can see in the table below.
Comparison of the calculated values with those actually measured in obese people of different ages. Tanaka et al, the equation 208- (0.7 x age) and Miller et al. the equation 200- (0:48 x age). Tanaka et al equation worked best.
Okay, now we know which formula is best for estimating maximum heart rate in ourselves hitched or any person that we should test or write an exercise program. Or? Actually, we only know what the equation that works best for calculating the mean if you test several different people. However, the variability of individuals still quite large even when using the best formula.
The graph to the right shows the individual maximum heart rate in relation to their age and the line on the graph shows the calculated mean. As you can see, it's very great variation between

The Man-Kzin Wars (1988, Larry Niven, Poul Anderson, Dean Ing) Man-Kzin Wars II (1989, Dean Ing, Je

Kzinti (singular Kzin) is probably the big wedding one of the best alien races or civilizations created in the Space Opera. Creators are author Larry Niven, though in many respects is quite reactionary. Something the big wedding that partially visible in his books. The books dealing with the Kzinti are not some of Larry Niven's best, it is instead the books of Ringworld and the two books about Moties (Mote in God's Eye and The Gripping Hand). The latter Niven wrote together with the more reactionary writer Jerry Pournelle.
Although Niven and Pournelle are quite right-wing, the big wedding I like many of their books, as you can imagine, I like especially Ringworld books and books about Mote in God's Eye. None of them play a major role Kzinti. the big wedding Nor is it Larry Niven who developed Kzinti as intelligent beings and race, but a writer who has written the big wedding books set in the universe created the big wedding by Larry Niven and which goes under the name of Known Space. Most of what is written about Kzinti are short stories, some of the latter compound to novels:
The Man-Kzin Wars (1988, Larry Niven, Poul Anderson, Dean Ing) Man-Kzin Wars II (1989, Dean Ing, Jerry Pournelle and SM Stirling) Man-Kzin Wars III (1990, Larry Niven, Poul Anderson, Jerry Pournelle and SM Stirling) Man-Kzin Wars IV (1991, Donald Kingsbury, Greg Bear and SM Stirling) Man-Kzin Wars V (1992, Thomas T. Thomas, Jerry Pournelle and SM Stirling) Man-Kzin Wars VI (1994, Donald Kingsbury Mark O. Martin and Gregory Benford), Man-Kzin Wars VII (1995, Hal Colebatch, Paul Chafe, Mark O. Martin and Gregory Benford), Man-Kzin Wars VIII: Choosing Names (1998, Larry Niven, Hal Colebatch, Jean Lamb Paul Chafe and Warren W. James) The Best of All Possible Wars: The Best of the Man-Kzin the big wedding Wars (1998), Man-Kzin the big wedding Wars IX (2002, Larry Niven, Poul Anderson, Hal Colebatch, Paul Chafe) Man-Kzin Wars X: The Wunder War (2003, Hal Colebatch) Man-Kzin Wars XI (2005, Larry Niven, Hal Colebatch and Matthew Joseph Harrington), Man-Kzin Wars XII (2009, Paul Chafe, Hal Colebatch the big wedding and Matthew Joseph Harrington) Man- Kzin Wars XIII (2012, Hal Colebatch, Jessica Q. Fox, Jane Lindskold, Charles E. Gannon, Alex Hernandez and David Bartell) Man-Kzin Wars XIV (2013, Hal Colebatch, Jessica Q. Fox, Matthew Joseph Harrington, Alex Hernandez )
Cathouse: A Novel of the Man Kzin-Wars (1990 Dean Ing) The Children's Hour: A Novel of the Man-Kzin Wars (1991, Jerry Pournelle and SM Stirling) inconstant Star (1991, Poul Anderson) A Darker Geometry (1996, Mark O. Martin and Gregory Benford) The Houses of the Kzinti (2002, Dean Ing, Jerry Pournelle, SM Stirling) Destiny's Forge: A Man-Kzin Wars Novel (2007, Paul Chafe) Treasure Planet (2013, Hal Colebatch & Jessica Q . Fox)
Kzinti is anything but a sympathetic race and the number of individuals who are very sympathetic sheep. It is an extreme macho culture where women are slaves and have been stupid in the head through genetic engineering and breeding controlled by men to create submissive and unintelligent women. Maybe a dream for men on Niven and Pour Ella, what do I know, but a nightmare seed all others. Would Kzinti get the power, it's about that it will be a hell for all by the side of the dominant men. An unsympathetic nightmare society where war is something the big wedding ongoing. But the greatness of Kzinti is perhaps the big wedding just that, they are human but hideous, they look like giant cats (okay tigers) but is totally fucking conniving, unpredictable, aggressive and violent. It's almost surprising that so many books have been written which Kzinti have an important role. Then there are minority groups within the Kzinti where women are not slaves. They live on the hidden planets, but becomes more prominent with time.
Kzinti that race has become so successful that they adopted and adapted also to Star Trek and Star Fleet Universe (which in turn is an adaptation of Star Trek). Cat-like aliens is quite popular in SF literature and SF games. Is, for example, also in the role play Travellerspoint where they are prominent and in some of the CJ. Cherryh's books on a part of the Alliance-Union universe-to name a few.

* Do not press your computer until you know exactly what you should have it. I usually press it on

Myself and a few female graduate student colleagues had the great pleasure of spending a few precious days at Villa Salin to discuss our research. We talked a lot about motivation and how to do to keep it up, but also about what happens when you do not succeed. Because even if it feels as if it were the only one that goes down in depressions and watching cute cat videos instead of medieval records, we are all on the ground sometimes. It becomes, at least for me, quite quickly a vicious circle. I do not work enough so I have to feel guilty so I eat so I get a bad conscience so I can not be bothered to work enough and so on. After a few weeks, I am not just a few pounds heavier, but also so much of the work that I no longer remember where to start.
So we talked about how to break the cycle and work quickly and efficiently without for the sake of working himself to death. Julia told me about James Haytons lecture on how to write his thesis in three months (without going crazy, tjohopp) and we looked devoutly at. Now probably no one who works in the humanities pretentionen to write his thesis in three months. slub It assumes as well that you have a lab and a certain amount of verifiable data and results that can be completed slub fixed the day you sit down and write. In humanities, one can always continuously go back to their sources, discuss, check and read again.
But the point really is it that you have to take control of their own work and that the only one who can do it yourself. You have to return to it where the love for his subject that made it initially sought leave to spend four years with only the subject but it does not guarantee a job, money or sex life even when you are finished. And so should you break the cycle. Here are my top tips, which I as of tomorrow (Famous Last Words) will implement:
* Do not press your computer until you know exactly what you should have it. I usually press it on the way into the kitchen to make breakfast. Not that it can boil tea, but because it is a habit. What I should do now is additionally finish reading a book I must review, so the computer would not be needed at all (take it easy, breathe in the bag, can not live without Internet).
* Check email only after you worked two hours. Anyone who has something very urgent to call. I check my email on average maybe 70 times per day. But it must of course not (breathe slub in the bag, can do without email for a few hours).
* Set reasonable goals for each day and take the day off when you are finished with the case. Effective working when I'm in one of those doldrums, and now I am uncomfortably honest, maybe 1 hour per day. The rest of the time I slösurfar, cleans out of that cabinet is actually very messy, sorts the pens, check my fucking email, read what others write on Facebook and Twitter and blogs and the rest of the Internet. If I instead slub would work effectively for two hours to gain access to my email, I have before I fall down in prokrastinationsmönstret actually worked twice as long as I otherwise would have done.
* Time Objectives should whenever possible be writing a certain number of words. If you write 300 word dissertation per day (which is pretty low, 500 is no major problem) has filled its ordkvot of 300 days (about 250 pages dissertation - notes are not included in the 300 words). It is possible to do.
* Do not be afraid of hollows! Things happen that you can not help and that you have to get through, for example, such as that one's cat dies and you go down, but by taking control of their own work, you can avoid the vicious circle, stronger and more efficient and with a kitten on the other side.

The same applies if you are freelance. But then, there is often a deadline slub to ensure that they are working diligently. And I've learned not to feel guilty for calmer job periods when I sit and slösurfar. Besides, I can always excuse myself to general education and language development are important things in my work, so it is important to read eg blogs and magazines online.
Good tips! My problem is that I can be very good for some time and basically follow the tips to the letter, but once it begins to slip, do it properly and then it takes several slub months to come back again.
I have had problems with my arms for a while now (easily become slub so if you sit half the day at the computer day in and day out ...) which meant that I no longer sit at the computer at home to any great extent

Girls, they tend to be much more in the gifting and the presents, and given the birthdays and anniversaries - right? They are in general. Nothing wrong with that, surely. But if you have been one of those girls who are probably endowed a lot of things to other larger and have exhausted all your choices for gifts, then? Then you need ideas, you will not? Let me guess, is the anniversary almost around the corner and you've had your fair share of ideas all these years. But now you want something else to look at? Of course we will help you. There are a lot of anniversary ideas for men to explore in the article that follows. So if you must, here are some of the best gifts for men that you can look in and find some of the best as follows.
Of course, it is disconcerting to think of the best anniversary gifts for men. So what I hope will help you is a list of some of the most perfect anniversary gifts for boyfriend and husband. Here it goes.
Anniversary Gifts by year, many women like to go in for the traditional approach to the anniversary deal and the current anniversary gifts by years married to their relatives. You see, there are these traditional gifts that highlight the type of gifts you should gift the other, depending on the year you are married. As it would be some kind of gift for the ten year anniversary gifts for men. In this case, the one made of tin and aluminum. Similarly, there will be special gifts for each year that will include the first and second anniversary gifts for men as well as every other year.
Gift Basket Sounds cliche? Maybe, but I'm sure you have it in you to spruce it up a notch. How do you go about doing this idea extra? celebrar You pick out only and only those things that you know he loves. Not some random guy stuff that you see on the shelves. celebrar What does he think? Ask yourself this, so make a list of all the things no matter how insignificant you think they are. You can give it a romantic twist and include the same number of gifts of the years that you have known him or been married to him. This is one of the best ideas to come up with gifts because of the sheer variety it offers. So get a little (or a lot) creative and start shopping. And it need not just be the really expensive gifts or just bought one. You can include some who do not put a dent in your pocket and make (that's right), do something celebrar for him, too. As a batch of his favorite cookies, a redeemable coupon book or a photo frame. celebrar
A day / week of Fun Banking on the same idea to bring the feel and not just the material gifts, is something that forms the core of this next gift. It is "your" birthday right? you both. So why not do something that can work for both of you? How? Sit down and think about all the things celebrar that you will love to do as a couple. (Yeah, OK, I saw how the sentence read. Sure, you can include it too - it's your birthday after all) So make a list of what you love to do - like watching a movie, cuddled together on the couch, go swimming in the river , look for novels in bookstores, or go for a picnic on some undiscovered place ... Then space all these activities celebrar in the course of a week and have a great anniversary week of fun! Is not that one of the most romantic anniversary ideas for him ... with him? And if you want to make it about him a little more, and less of you as a couple, so for a day in the week, you can plan a surprise day out with their friends. Bet he will love it and it makes for one of the best dating anniversary gifts too.
There you go, some of the best anniversary gifts to choose from. You can look at some of the generic gifts that men like, like gadgets and electronics and stuff. celebrar But if you ask me, I'd love to gift significant other something celebrar that I put my mind to and planned with care. Would not you? These anniversary gifts will be just perfect for that then. Congratulations in advance. I'm sure you have a good one.

OMX Stockholm, at 17.30 0.17% 457.32 SEK 1 month: 9.40% Year-end: 7.95%

A new report from Länsförsäkringar who came recently shows that 46 percent of Swedes save less than 1 000 per month or nothing at all. 21 percent do not save at all. Among those who save monthly saving is calculated as the median of 2 000 per month.
- As an investor you should not be distressed by acting on unrest in the world and the financial markets. The most important thing is to be long-term, sustainable and happy to save on a regular basis. The monthly saving smoothes the exchange's short-term fluctuations because buying through ramadan 2014 both up and decline, he says and continues.
- Anyone who can spare the money for at least five years old should not be afraid to invest money in the stock market via mutual funds or stocks. If you know however that you need the money coming years so you should be careful not to take the risk of saving money, he says, and continues
- The easiest way is to buy cheap index funds and time to spread the risk in more markets than the Swedish. One-third each in index funds for Sweden, ramadan 2014 Europe and the United States provides a good spread of risk. For those who want to spice savings and take higher risks can usefully add one or more emerging markets.
- I believe in equities and suggests that half invested in equities, such as equity funds that target the United States, Europe, Sweden and Japan. For those interested in equities, it is not wrong to own some of the shares directly, then the company that you believe in and understand the business.
- Before taking a decision on various investments should review their loan situation. To recoup some of their mortgages can be a well-balanced investment given the current low interest rates, says Gabrielsson.
200 000 Hemberg think that you should split the savings in a couple of different time horizons. Of the money that will be used the next year to be a part sit on a common bank account for unexpected expenses.
- Money to be used for at least three years, placed in a global fund, for example, SPP Global Top 100. It's a fund with many of the world's largest companies. Gives good growth and width, so you are not dependent on a country or a politician. I also believe in SPP Europe which is a cheap fund focusing on a continent that is now growing again.
- For example, a part of DNB Tech Fund, a fund of world class that focuses ramadan 2014 on technology companies in the world. Or Fidelity China Consumer which is a fund that captures the wave of modernization in China. Erika Pahne at Swedbank advises savers to sit still in the boat, given Ukraine crisis.
- Depending on developments, the crisis in Ukraine, in the worst cases continued to affect ramadan 2014 stock markets and it can get up shakily as well as down. Yet it is no drama but wait something to see which way the trend leans.
With a medium investment horizon of five - seven years and with a good balance of risk at its current recommend Erika Pahne 35 percent fixed-income ramadan 2014 investments in money market funds with low fees and 55 percent in a global equity fund to spread the risk in different markets.
